Our last show of the 2024 season for our jazz shows is the outstanding Nick Peck Quintet who will be playing, Nov. 24th. 7:30pm

The Nick Peck Quintet is a group of Canada’s finest jazz musicians, all leaders of their own bands, who have collaborated to blend extraordinary talents into one of Canada’s finest combos. The band, which is led by pianist Nick Peck, consists of Ryan Oliver (saxes), Andrew Janusson (gtr.), Ken Lister (bass) and Hans Verhoeven (drums).

Nick Peck has performed nationally and internationally for many years and was trained in the UK at the Guildhall School Of Music by some of the UK’s top jazz players, John Taylor, Simon Purcell, Ian Carr etc. His style is marked by his ability to shift from hard-swinging jazz to pastoral serenity to elements of the 20th/21st century piano tradition at the drop of a hat, both hands equally creative on the keyboard, in a manner that is both constantly engaging and accessible.
